Builders' Corner

We are moving along at 1242 Abagail Drive in Deltona.  We had a great turnout of volunteers for our big day of raising the trusses.  We also got started on the framing and, thanks to the Key Club from University High School along with  guidance from Sue Remington, Habitat Volunteer Coordinator, the grounds are clear of all debris.  Even though the focus was on trusses, the work that was done by the Key Club helps keep all of our volunteers safe from injuries while working on the site.

Next up was getting the roof decked...and getting a new safety system installed to better protect the volunteers up on the roof. 

Our tropical weather has delayed us a bit but we will continue on so that the Cardonas family can soon enjoy their new home.
